| Analysis: Ocean Boulevard broke outward coming out of the gate, stalked the early pace and finished evenly in a third place finish last out at this level in the slop at the Spa. The filly caught a racing strip that was kind top inside speed that day. The winner of the race was Morning Star, who returned to beat $50,000 non-winners of three in her next outing on Sept. 12 here. The filly makes her third start off the bench here for the Wilkes barn and fits well in this spot. |
Clock Stopper broke her maiden in her debut at Philly where Brown has been on fire with shippers and the runner up in that race was a next out grad. Last out she shipped back to Philly acted up in the gate and fading badly to finish a well beaten 12th against Alw-1 company. The barn has been on a roll in New York the last month and this filly will be catching a fast track for the first time here. If she runs back to her maiden win she will be tough here.
