Saratoga free selection for Wednesday:
|No.||SAR Race 5 Md Sp Wt (2:34 ET)||ML||FAIR|
| 2 || Girlaboutown || 8-5 || 8-5 |
| 9 || Senso || 8-1 || 9-2 |
| 7 || Jilly Mac || 10-1 ||6-1|
| 3 || Moonlight Fantasy || 5-1 || 9-2 |
| Analysis: Girlaboutown caught a muddy track in her debut where she prompted the early pace, opened up a lead heading for home and caught late, settling for the runner up spot. She was better than six lengths clear of the rest of the field in the effort. This gal is bred to be a good one, by A.P. Indy out of the stakes winner Cardmania ($1.5 million) who has dropped two other foals to race, both winners. The Hushion barn is 35% winners with second out maidens. She will be tough in this spot. |
Senso checked in third at Santa Anita for a $20,000 tag, sent off at 7-2 in a field of seven. She was claimed out of the race by the Peter Miller barn and shipped east to face state breds, landing in the Jacobson barn. She just shows a trio of slow works since arriving, but we have seen what this barn can do with newcomers and may be worth tossing in the mix here if she goes off near her 8-1 morning line.
